Returns Policy

1. If something is wrong with your order

Our expert team is available for any enquiries, returns or safety guidelines. If a product arrives damaged, incorrect or short-supplied, contact us as soon as possible so we can put it right.

• Check the consignment on arrival, before signing for it.
• Report damage, shortages or incorrect items to us straight away, quoting your quotation reference.
• Keep the product in its original packaging until we have agreed how to proceed.
• Photographs of the packaging and the product help us resolve the matter quickly.

2. Products that cannot normally be returned

Chemicals, reagents and medical supplies carry safety, traceability and contamination constraints. For that reason the following generally cannot be accepted back:

• Chemical containers whose seal has been broken or which have been decanted or partly used.
• Sterile or single-use medical items whose packaging has been opened.
• Products stored outside the conditions stated on the label or in the Material Safety Data Sheet.
• Items made to order or imported specifically against your requirement.

3. How a return is agreed

Returns are agreed with our team before anything is sent back. Contact us with your quotation reference and a description of the issue, and we will confirm whether the item can be returned and how to send it.

Please do not return goods without first agreeing it with us — unannounced returns of chemical products cannot be safely received.

4. Resolution

Where a return is accepted, we will agree the resolution with you — normally a replacement, a corrected supply, or a credit against the confirmed order.

Because pricing is agreed individually in each quotation, the commercial terms of any credit are handled directly with our sales team.

5. Safe handling of returned chemicals

Any product being returned must be packed and transported in line with its Material Safety Data Sheet and applicable regulations. Our team will provide guidance on handling, storage and disposal, and can advise on protective gear and spill management where relevant.
